Relationships: Marriage and Divorce
Relationships: Marriage and Divorce Introduction Wedding vows are derived from the roles and responsibilities that Scripture places upon the husband and his wife. The majority of these principles can be gleaned from Paul's treatment of a married couple's responsibilities toward each other under Christ in Ephesians 5:22-33. Today we will...

Understanding Ephesians 4:5 “One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism”
Understanding Ephesians 4:5 Summary Of Ephesians 4:5 The word “one” appears seven times in Ephesians 4:4–6. Oneness and unity are important themes in Ephesians and in Paul’s writings. Paul constantly preached about unity and prayed for unity among Church members (Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 1:10; 2 Corinthians 13:11). Most...

Steps For Successful Prayer
Why Did Jesus Pray? "... for my Father is greater than I." The very act of prayer implies that the person who is praying considers the power to whom one is praying to as superior to oneself. Hence, by praying, a person implies that they are looking for help from...

Until God Perfects His Love In Me (Full Version)
There is a difference between hearing a sermon and hearing the Word of God; A sermon may or may not contain the Word of God. And if I am preaching the word of God, I'm going to find it where? – Bible
Preaching that fails to address sin or correct false doctrinal teachings does not meet people’s needs. It may make them feel good, and they may respond enthusiastically to the preacher, but that is not the same as having their real needs met.
Since the Bible declares that God will supply all our needs. The question then becomes, what do I need from God? The answer depends on your relationship with God. In order to have a relationship with God, I need to know who God is and what God is. The Bible tells us that God is Love, and it is His Love that is within us that is reflective of our treatment of one another.
Pastor Gregg delivers a powerful and in-depth message on this subject matter.

Oneness: Part 1 (The Human Distinction Between God and Christ)
What Is “Oneness?”.
The Oneness of God refers to the “singleness” of God; that there is only one God and that there was no God before him or after him (Isaiah 43:10)
By definition, one is singular (as in a single person, thing, unit, kind, group, or category)
By definition, Oneness refers to “singleness” (Encarta Dictionary)
The Bible contains many verses that specifically state there is only one God and that there is no other. (Deuteronomy 4:35, 4:39, 6:4; Isaiah 43:10, 44:6, 45:5-6, 18, 22; Ephesians 4:6)
Other verses confirm the existence of One God however, they also indicate that there was a man (named Jesus) who, being the chosen Lamb of God, died on the cross for the atonement of sin (John 1:29; Romans 5:8 – 11). This man, God resurrected from the dead (Acts 2:32, 4:10, 10:40, 13:30, 13:37) ascended up to Heaven and is now in heaven with GOD and holds a completely different status than God (Hebrews 4:14, 7:25, 9:24; Romans 8:34).
(1 Timothy 2:5) states: “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”
These passages of scripture (and there are more) clearly reflect Jesus as a man. These are biblical stated facts (something we can prove), anything else is a man-made conjecture (something not found written in the Bible ANYWHERE); They do not reflect Jesus as GOD or GOD the SON.
Many who do not study the Scriptures for themselves have relied on man-made doctrines that are false, misleading, and often contradictory to biblical statements and sound doctrine, which has led to much confusion specifically when it comes to a correct understanding of the Godhead and just exactly how Jesus fits into that puzzle and who exactly Jesus is.
Most biblical interpretations about Jesus can be tested as being true or false by a simple three-step process: Identification, Verification, and Test to prove it. An interpretation may sound or even “appear” to be possible and yet be totally wrong if it is not correctly applied. In fact, such near misses of interpretation can be the most treacherous, since they are so close to the truth. These interpretations may satisfy one condition yet not meet another necessary condition.

The Preached Word of God (Preview)
Preaching the Truth is not always well received, but it is necessary. There is a difference between preaching a sermon in contrast to preaching the word of God.
A sermon may or may not contain the word of God. Preaching the truth is preaching the word of God and not our version of the Bible. And if I am preaching the word of God, I am going to find it written as such in the Bible.

Until God's Love Is Perfected In Me (Preview Version)
God is love, and God is a spirit. If I have God's Spirit in me I have God's love. God's Love Is Perfecting Me By Being In Me. God's love is unconditional. I am able to love others unconditionally as God loves me. True love works no ill towards its neighbor.
